Introduction

​

The CCNSG Renewal Course is a one-day refresher course for those who have already completed the CCNSG National Course.

 

Importantly, card holders must renew within three months of the safety passport expiry date or retake the two-day CCNSG National Course.

​

Successfully completing this course will enable the participants to show an awareness of the need for safe working practices and apply them in the workplace, demonstrate a knowledge of common health and safety hazards and demonstrate a basic knowledge of current safety legislation.

Aims

​

Delegates completing a CCNSG Safety Passport Refresher training course will;

​

  • Have received the necessary health and safety information to enable them to demonstrate their understanding via a number of tests

  • Have the knowledge to prevent accidents and know safe practices

  • Understand the importance of good housekeeping

​

Course Content

 

The CCNSG Renewal course covers:

​

  • The impact of an accident.

  • The importance of safe behaviour.

  • Legal framework.

  • Point Of Work Risk Assessment.

  • Permit to Work.

  • Good practice.

​

Duration

​

This is a one-day course. Delegates are required to complete the full course to be eligible for certification.

​

Assessment

 

To successfully achieve the course, delegates must pass the end of course examination.

​

Certification

​

Upon successful completion of the course you will be awarded a CCNSG Site Safety Passport.
